>> My project 'If Objects Could Speak..' was also featured on Hazel's White's website. Hazel White is Programme Director of the Master of Design Course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee.

What I learnt today....

I've been doing a research project for the Citizens Advice Bureau and I've been finding out lots of interesting information -

If you live in the most affluent part of Surrey you will probably live 5.4 years longer than someone in the least affluent part.

Every day 5 people in Surrey die as a result of smoking

76% of land in Surrey is agricultural or woodland.

Surrey lacks the infrastructure to support poorer communities such as cheaper transport, cheaper supermarkets and has poor public transport in rural areas.

The affluence of Surrey hides its poverty, in statistical terms.
